The California Air Resources Board adopted a greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting regulation pursuant to the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 (AB32). This rule requires that specified facilities report their annual GHG emissions in 2009 and every year thereafter and certain facilities subject to mandatory reporting must have their GHG emissions verified. Only ARB accredited verifiers may provide verification services. The principals at Verdant are accredited as CARB GHG lead verifiers and have sector accreditation in the oil and gas, transactions and process sectors.
